ISTT Tenant Launches “Comprehensive Virtual Microscope” Online System

A tenant company at Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), Parto Noor Aseman Co., has launched an online system named “Comprehensive Virtual Microscope”. This system is intended to meet the growing need for an online presence of laboratories especially in an academic scope. After much research on the limitations and challenges of such an undertaking, Parto Noor Co. has finally launched this website hoping to increase the quality and efficiency of Iran’s online education system which is especially crucial in the current pandemic situation.

This website has been designed as a complementary online source for practical lessons currently being given in laboratories around the country. Also, it intends to alleviate the challenges that are present including the high costs associated with the acquisition and maintenance of different Microscopes in large numbers, the inability to simultaneously use and view specimens, the inability to re-examine, take notes, and mark specimens, and also not being able to save important and useful images for later.

This website acts as a virtual Microscope allowing lecturers and university students to interact with each other via their smart devices. It can also simplify the process of teaching practical lessons in different laboratories by interactively viewing, managing, sharing and zooming whilst maintain the quality of the image, analyzing and marking content in ease. The system is applicable to all laboratories including those of Medical sciences, Biology, Agricultural, etc.
